Martin is a licensed psychologist in the state of Missouri and a professor emeritus of educational psychology at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.truman.edu\" target=\"_new\">Truman State University<\/a>. Dr. Martin has a life-long interest in the study of creativity, learning, psychotherapy, constructivism, and cybernetics. He has a PhD from the <a href=\"http:\/\/illinois.edu\" target=\"_new\">University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign<\/a> where he completed an interdisciplinary thesis with Heinz von Foerster and Herbert Br&uuml;n.
