THEME for the Conference

We sought to explore how we increase the well-being of our systems and ourselves, as we are systems embedded in numerous other systems.

The daily news gives us examples every day that the frameworks and the means currently in use do not have requisite variety to deal with the complexity of our circumstances. But we may not be discouraged by the challenge.

How may we meet this challenge?

At our 2004 Conference we sought to meet it through ...

  • our thoughts and thinking about our thoughts;
  • our commitments and their implications;
  • our perspectives and those of others who construct their realities according to different patterns;
  • our conversations through which we come to know ourselves and others.
