Jay Kapraff

Jay Kappraff is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is the author of two books: Connections: The Geometric Bridge between Art and Science and Beyond Measure: A Guided Tour through Nature, Myth, and Number. He has published more than fifty papers on Applied Mathematics and informal geometry. He pioneered a course in Mathematics of Design and is presently teaching it to a new School of Design part of the School of Architecture at NJIT. He also is founding member and chairman of the Technology and Society Forum at NJIT where more that 50 forums have been held over the past six years.
